Step into the serene world of Japanese tea with our immersive 4-hour tour in the heart of the Sonogi region.
Wander through rolling tea fields with breathtaking views of Omura Bay, uncover the rich history of Nagasaki tea, and learn what makes this region’s harvest so special. You’ll explore a tea factory and see firsthand how the local green tea gem — tamaryokucha — is crafted, from leaf to cup.

Throughout the experience, you’ll taste a variety of carefully selected Nagasaki teas, brew your own perfect cup of tamaryokucha, and even try your hand at whisking a traditional bowl of matcha.

Whether you’re a tea enthusiast or simply curious, this journey offers a deep, delicious dive into the world of Japanese tea culture.

11:00~12:00 Welcome tea and an introduction to Japanese tea & Nagasaki tea region
12:00~13:00 Lunch (please contact us in advance if you have any allergies or require vegetarian/vegan options)
13:00~13:30 Guided visit to picturesque tea fields overlooking Omura Bay & tour of a local tea factory
13:30~15:00 Interactive tasting of Nagasaki teas and a short journey through the history of Japanese tea

¥14,000 per person (¥15,400 incl. tax)

BOOKING STEPS

Booking through our online booking form is required at least a week in advance to reserve your place on the tour

To book your place on the tea tour please select a date from the calendar below.
After submitting the booking form you will be directed to a payment page. Please make the payment at the time of the booking.
Your tour is reserved once the payment is confirmed (Stripe confirmation is regarded as the tour confirmation).
If you have any dietary concerns, please contact us so we can discuss options.
After booking: you should receive an email within 15 minutes. If it does not arrive in your inbox, please check your spam/junk mail folder first before contacting us.

Cancellation

More than 14 days before the tour date: Full refund
14 – 7 days before the tour date: 80% refund
6 – 3 days before the tour date: 50% refund
Less than 3 days before the tour date: No refund
In case of a refund, we will refund you the amount after deducting Stripe’s Transfer and Booking Fees.
